Nely is Juan's cousin. She celebrated her 15 year birthday party, which in the Mexican culture is a big deal. We had fun seeing what a beautiful young lady she is becoming. Evi was a flower girl, and got all dolled up. She got a lot of attention, especially from the 4 couples that were Nely's attendants. Juan explained to Evi that when you turn 15 it is like acknowledging that your childhood is passed, and you are a young woman. So during Mass, she promises to love Jesus and follow God. Juan asked Evi if she wanted to have a party like that, and she said no,while we were in Mass, but as soon as we got to the reception hall, she said she wanted one.

Looks like it all was a lot of fun. I'm sure there are many happy memories that will linger in the minds of those who participated.
Where did you end up finding her dress on such short notice? You never told me. She looks so cute. I'm glad you all had fun.
